SAM Walsh’s courageous mark has been recognised as a rebel Mark of the Year contender for Round 7.
In Carlton’s three-point loss to Port Adelaide, Sam Walsh capped off an outstanding personal showing with one of the bravest marks you'll ever see.
Running back with the flight for 30 metres, the grab saw Walsh fly high into Port Adelaide’s forward 50 into the likes of a marauding Charlie Dixon in a clear act of courage.
Walsh has been nominated alongside Collingwood's Will Hoskin-Elliott and North Melbourne's Josh Walker.
