Wet weather didn't dampen the spirits of hundreds of Carlton fans who showed up at the WACA to support the Blues in Perth on Friday.

In their final training session before the  Semi Final against the West Coast Eagles, all players took part in a light training session before spending time signing autographs for their adoring fans.

Playing in his first AFL final, defender Zach Tuohy said the team felt confident and excited about the big game.

"I've tried to keep my mind off the game as much as I can, because I don't want the nerves building up too much." he said.

"But it's very exciting to be here, especially to see the crowd out at training.  It is amazing to see so many Carlton fans here in Perth on a Friday morning. The boys told me we have a huge following in Perth and this sure proves it."

"We know it's going to be a big game and hopefully it's the first of a couple more finals this year  and we want to give our Perth fans something to cheer about."
