The 2008 Carlton Banquet Auction, “Mamma Mia”, is sold out but through the Carlton Website you can still be involved. CFC Auctions is offering two more very special items for you to make pre-auction bids that will give you the opportunity to own one or both of these wonderful pieces of Carlton memorabilia.

Both items will be feature items for sale at the Carlton Football Club Banquet Auction on Saturday July 12th, but CFC Auctions allows you to set the price for these items.

Item 1 - Barassi Signed Scanlens Archives Ron Barassi Football Cards
Scanlens Australia has launched the Scanlens Archives range of limited edition photographic prints and collector cards featuring the original images used for the classic 1966 Scanlens ‘Flag Series’ football cards.

1966 was Barassi’s second year at the Carlton Football Club – this item celebrates Barassi’s wonderful years at Carlton and has been signed by the great man himself. This is set number 31 of the limited edition of 66.

Item 2 – Carlton Player Signed Scanlen Archives Football Cards
This is another set of limited edition photographic and collector cards featuring the imaged used for the classic 1966 Scanlens ‘Flag Series’ football cards.

This set has been signed by Ron Barassi, John Nicholls, Bryan Quirk, John Gould, Cliff Steward and a facsimile signature of the late Maurie Sankey.

Bidding online not only gives you the chance to set the proxy bid for the item at the Carlton Banquet Auction on July 12, if you set the proxy bid you will have the opportunity to be a phone bidder on the night. Even if you have not secured a ticket to this sold out function you will still be able to bid on the night.
