Carlton supporters who missed the opportunity to have their name acknowledged on the Honour Board among the ’Blue Believers’ now have another chance to be recognised in the Club’s new facilities.

The Honour Board, which boasts in excess of 17,000 names, was erected in May 2010, but following a number of enquiries, the Club has decided to extend the program to allow Members who didn’t take up the offer in 2009 to be included.

Carlton ruckman Sam Jacobs took time out of his training schedule to point out his parents’ names on the Blue Believers Honour Board.

“Mum and Dad signed up as Blue Believers last year. It’s great that they not only support me as a player but also the Football Club,” Jacobs told carltonfc.com.au

“The Blue Believers have  helped the Club build these awesome facilities. The players walk past the Honour Board everyday and it’s a subtle reminder to all of us of the number of people who have contributed to our new home.”

The Blue Believer Program forms an important part of the club’s activities to assist funding the redevelopment that is benefiting the Carlton team in 2010 and beyond.

All supporters have the opportunity to contribute as a Blue Believer through a $25 donation providing you with the chance to purchase spots for family and friends.
