Jarrad Waite will lead
Waite was recommended by the leadership group to stand in as skipper in the absence of Lance Whitnall.
In his fifth season of senior football, the versatile Blue said he was honoured to be asked by the leadership group to step into the position for the Round 13 game.
“It’s an honour and privilege to be selected by your peers to Captain the Carlton Football Club. I am really looking forward to leading the team on Saturday,” Waite said.
