100-point belting at the hands of Casey could hardly be considered the most idyllic lead-in to the 2011 finals series, but the Northern Bullants have the chance to rebound hard against Bendigo in Sunday's Elimination Final at TEAC Oval.

The Ants and the Bombers, who completed their 22-round VFL home and away commitments in sixth and seventh positions respectively, face off in the knockout contest from 2.10pm.

Last weekend’s contest, in which former Carlton full-forward Brendan Fevola sent the ball sailing over the goal umpire’s hat on ten occasions, was controlled by Casey’s midfield.

That said, Brock McLean was the standout with 34 disposals and nine clearances in a superior display, while Adam Iacobucci was the solid contributor out of the back half.

Kane Lucas was also a creditable performer with 26 disposals.

Setanta O'hAilpin, who booted six goals last week against Port Melbourne, managed the solitary six-pointer this time around, while Shaun Hampson laboured with what was an ankle complaint.
