The Carlton Football Club has introduced the new ‘Club 17’ extra as part of its 2010 Membership options.

The major benefit of the ‘Club 17’ package is that it guarantees members the option of purchasing a 2010 Grand Final ticket should Carlton participate.

“Accessing a Grand Final ticket can be a frustrating experience with many members missing out on purchasing a ticket, ‘Club 17’ solves that problem,” General Manager Membership and Merchandise, Anthony Hargreaves told carltonfc.com.au

‘Club 17’ is available through all Silver and Football Gold membership categories, with Captains Club members already entitled to a guaranteed Grand Final ticket as past of their base package. ‘Club 17’ will be capped to the first 3,000 members.

Members who add ‘Club 17’ as an extra in 2010 will receive a Club 17 notepad and pen.

The introduction of ‘Club 17’ comes following feedback from Carlton members during 2009.

“The feedback from our Members in 2009 has also resulted in a number of changes to some membership categories and in 2010 there will be a new part-payment system ‘Carlton For Life’ and a new Silver three-game membership package.

“In addition to these new options we have also invested considerable funds and resources into a new database to provide an optimal Member - Club relationship. The new database is designed to ensure members can communicate with the Club and the Club can likewise stay in touch with all members,” Hargreaves added.
