Hundreds of Carlton supporters took advantage of the special prices on offer at The Carlton Shop at Princes Park on Sunday. The Carlton Merchandise Mega Sale was very popular with supporters taking advantage of some of the great discounts on the Carlton merchandise.
Fresh from Carlton’s victory over Fremantle the day before; Paul Bower, Setanta O’hAilpin and Shaun Hampson were on hand to meet with supporters at The Carlton Shop. In addition to talking with the players supporters enjoyed a free sausage sizzle and the jumping castle proved very popular with the younger supporters.
A number of former reserved seat holders in the Heatley Stand took the opportunity to purchase a section of seating from the stand as a special memory of their time watching the Blues in action from the famous old stand. The Club will soon announce opportunities for supporters to purchase pieces of the seating from the stand as memorabilia. Details of this will be announced on the Carlton Website in coming weeks.
The Mega Sale was part of the preparations for the relocation of The Carlton Shop at Princes Park. The Carlton Shop will be relocated to enable the demolition of the Harris and Heatley Stands as part of the redevelopment of the venue. The success of the sale will be extended to all Carlton supporters through the Carlton Website with the special offers to be released this week on The Carlton Shop online.
