3 Amigos Stick Together at Carlton
Jeff Garlett has been rewarded for his great form with a two-year contract with the club.
Garlett, fresh from a slashing six-goal haul against Essendon last Friday night, was this week rewarded for his capacity to respond to the call on the 26 occasions he has been promoted to senior level.
Garlett’s 42-goal collective return over almost two seasons opened with one goal on debut, in the opening round of 2009 against Richmond at the MCG.
The signing not only completes a week to remember for the boy from Swan Districts, who turned 21 earlier this month, but now means that Garlett and fellow small forwards Eddie Betts and Chris Yarran have all committed to long-term deals with Carlton, keeping the 3 Amigos together.
