The Carlton Football Club continues to work with organisations involved with the club to provide benefits over and above those provided through the partnership agreements.

Such an association with the Carlton Football Club has been the catalyst for a successful business partnership between Spotlight and the Club’s joint major sponsor Hyundai.

“We are delighted that an introduction through Carlton has benefited both Hyundai and Spotlight. It is a wonderful endorsement of the additional benefits that are attainable through an association with Carlton and we will continue to strive to add value for our clients, particularly in these tough economic times,” said Carlton CEO, Greg Swann.

Hyundai Motor Company Australia has delivered the first of ninety Hyundai 2009 Tucson City SX models to Spotlight Group, Australia’s largest chain of fabric, craft and home interiors.

The introduction of the two companies came through an association with the Carlton Football Club.  Hyundai is a joint major sponsor of the Club and Zac Fried, Spotlight Group’s joint owner and director is on the board of the Carlton Football Club.

“Spotlight Group was looking to renew our sales force vehicles and the Hyundai Tucson performed extremely well in all aspects of our evaluation,” said Zac Fried.  “These vehicles will be used by our sales force for customer and in house visits, so it is imperative we have reliable, fuel efficient vehicles whilst still being able to optimise space to carry products and tools”.

The Hyundai Tucson City SX compact SUV offers Spotlight Group educed CO2 emissions and enhanced safety features such as ESP Stability Control technology and airbags, without compromising operational requirements.

“We were introduced to Spotlight Group through our friends at Carlton Football Club,” Hyundai’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Kevin McCann commented.  “Spotlight Group was looking for a suitable vehicle to fulfil a particular business need and we are delighted that the Hyundai Tucson compact SUV meets all their criteria.”
