David Teague hasn’t had time to contemplate life in retirement. Carlton’s inaugural John Nicholls Medallist and 50-game defender has been immersed in his role as Northern Bullants and Player Development Coach from the moment he hung up the boots.
 
For Teague, the opportunity to remain with the Blues in a coaching capacity fulfils a dream he had always harboured to ply his hand at the craft after his on-field days had come to an end.
