The team will spend two weeks utilising a range of facilities at Northern Arizona University, located in Flagstaff, two hours North of Phoenix, Arizona.
Carlton star Marc Murphy told CFC TV that although he wasn’t sure what the training schedule entailed, all players were looking forward to whatever challenges lay ahead.
“We are really lucky to be able to travel to a different environment, away from any distractions and just focus entirely on getting ready for the 2013 season,” he said.
“It will also give us a good chance to spend some quality time with each other and some of our new coaches to make sure we are all on the same page going forward.”
Over the following two weeks, the players will be put through their paces in a range of training exercises including hikes up Mt Humphresy and trek through the Grand Canyon.
