The Carlton players will travel to Arizona for two weeks in November for altitude training as part of their pre-season campaign.

The Arizona training camp will commence in early November with the coaching staff being joined by 40 players for the two-week program.

In late October 2011 a number of Carlton players travelled to Qatar for altitude training as part of their pre-Christmas program. While considered a very successful training camp, the Arizona location provides variety for the players as well as the opportunity for up to five corporate supporters to attend part of the camp.

Carlton's GM of Football Operations Andrew McKay said having a number of key supporters involved in the trip would not only help fund the camp but would benefit the club in other ways as well.

“The Arizona location will provide the altitude training that is very important for the playing group and will assist the fitness levels for 2013.

“Importantly being able to host a number of corporate supporters who will have an exclusive opportunity to be a part of the training camp in Arizona will help to fund the camp.

“This will also bring these corporate guests closer to the playing group and the Carlton Football Club helping to further build our relationship with the individuals and their organisations,” McKay said
