Sharp defensive work and quick thinking feature in this week's CFC Plays of the Day, selected by Assistant Coach, Gavin Brown.

The first Play of the Day from Round 14 goes to Kade Simpson, for his courageous defensive work in blocking the ball from Sydney's Dan Hannebery.

With the brilliant team work that follows from Ed Curnow, Chris Yarran and Jarrad Waite; Bryce Gibbs takes full advantage of the opportunity and kicks a goal from fifty metres.

Mitch Robinson proves his speedy skills by kicking the ball away from the pack, straight into the hands of Andrew Walker. Walker then propels the ball straight to Dennis Armfield, who kicks for goal.

While Kane Lucas proves his toughness, taking a courageous mark and following it up with a goal.
