ABOUT ST LUKE’S
Between 1932 and 1978 the St Luke's Toddlers' Home cared for 1500 children in Bendigo, Victoria. In the 1970s, the auspice of the agency moved from the Melbourne Diocese of the Anglican Church to the Bendigo Diocese. St Luke's Family Care, now known as St Luke's Anglicare, was born in 1979.
Today, more than 20 years later, the wellbeing of children remains our core business as we work with children, their families and communities to bring hope and create opportunities for change.
More than 300 people are employed by St Luke's who, between them, work with more than 1000 people on any given day.
