Quick and strong medium-sized defender who can play on smalls or talls. Was a Vic Country U18 representative in 2010 where he averaged 11 disposals at 91 per cent efficiency in his three matches. Shows great discipline in the backline.

A disciplined backman who runs from behind to attack and create, and plays tall and small.

Andrew Mackie, a disciplined backman who can play tall or small and loves to run.

What are your strengths as a footballer?
Disciplined, organised and competitive.

What parts of your game would you like to improve?
Speed, agility and starting positions.

Which AFL team do you support and how did you come to barrack for them?
Richmond Tigers. I followed my father as he barracks for Richmond.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career so far, and why?
My dad and regional manager Darren Flanigan, because dad always gives me feedback and tells me how I played, and Darren has taught me a lot about footy.
