OVERVIEW
Heath Scotland had another solid season, the reliable veteran playing in 20 games for the Blues. A classy ball-user by foot and a General in defence, Scotland reached two major milestones during the year including his 250th AFL game and 200th senior game for Carlton.

At the end of the season Scotland was strategically delisted by the Blues, the Club announcing it will redraft him as a rookie to ensure Carlton can have three picks in the National Draft. Scotland embraced the move saying his body is feeling good and he is looking forward to the year ahead.

HE SAID IT
“I’m thrilled to be able to share a milestone game with two other guys who are great friends. We’ve played together now for eight or nine years. ‘Walks’ has got two boys of a similar age to mine and they hang out together, so it’s great to share these special moments with others you’re close to.”

THEY SAID IT
"We've had three significant milestones today for the Carlton Football Club, not every player gets to play 150 or 250 games. ‘Scotto’ has been through a lot of the bad stuff at this footy club during the early 2000s, but he saw the light and came across to the navy blue and white and has been terrific.”

SEASON HIGHLIGHT
Scotland showed age is no barrier, with the 33-year-old recording more than 30 touches three times during 2013. His best effort came in the Round 18 win over the Gold Coast, where Scotland took 33 possessions, ten marks and seven inside 50s in an outstanding performance.
