The Carlton Football Club has won over A-League soccer star Steven McGarry, with the Perth Glory player now calling himself a Blues supporter.
Long time Carlton man and fellow Perth Glory star Adrian Zahra presented McGarry with a Carlton guernsey last week, officially welcoming him to the family.
Hailing from Scotland, McGarry moved to the Perth Glory during the 2010 transfer window.
Zahra says it was about time McGarry found himself an AFL team.
"It's great to finally get the Scottish man on-board, and it couldn't have come at a better time," Zahra said.
"He was buzzing to see a message from Juddy welcoming him to the Blues. It was a big deal, as he is such a superstar."
