The Carlton Football Club has been deeply touched by the tragic passing of Alexander and Bridget Jones, two young Carlton supporters whose lives were tragically taken as a result of a terrible accident on Swanston Street last week.

The Club has chosen to acknowledge the siblings by dedicating one side of Sunday afternoon's cheer squad banner in their memory.

Two personally signed guernseys from Alexander and Bridget's favourite players, Chris Judd and Marc Murphy have also been delivered to the family at their request.

The thoughts of Carlton's President, Board, Coaches, Players and Staff are with Alexander's and Bridget's parents Ian and Sue on their profound personal loss of a much-loved son and daughter for whom this football team meant so much.

To the Jones family, and to the wide circle of friends whose lives Alexander and Bridget so deeply touched, we offer our most heartfelt sympathy as together we remember them.
