Carlton's Jarrad Waite has revealed he's feeling confident within himself after kicking a career-high seven goals against Essendon on Friday night.
Waite has told 3AW's Sports Today he has been trying to build on his form, since returning from injury and his much talked about suspension.
"I'm really finding my feet up forward and unfortunately I haven't been out there because of injury. But the games that I've played, I have felt I have done pretty well in. So it's the confidence I've had from those games, and Mick coming along has given some confidence to all the players as well."
Meanwhile Waite says he expects teammate Chris Yarran will be eager to make amends on the field.
Yarran has apologised for his poor body language, after being designated the substitute against the Bombers.
"He'll be keen to go out there and lay some tackles and use his feet. He's such an important part of our team and I'm sure he will be looking forward to redeeming himself."
