Carlton star midfielder Chris Judd is racing the clock to line up for the Blues in Sunday's elimination final against Richmond - a match that coincides with his 30th birthday.
Judd has spent three weeks on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury in the Round 20 clash with the Bulldogs.
The dual Brownlow medalist moved well at training today, but Carlton's General Manager of Football Operations Andrew McKay says Judd is no certainty to play.
"Chris has to get through training this week, we had light training today and he managed to do what was required but that is a long way off playing a game of football"
"We have our main session on Thursday and another session on Saturday and he will have to get through all of that to be considered fit to play"
There are also still question marks over Brock McLean and Heath Scotland.
Both players are recovering from quad injuries and were restricted to light duties at Tuesday's training session.
A decision on all three players will be made after Carlton's closed main training session on Thursday.
