Carlton fans will need to be a little more patient in the countdown to Thursday's trade period deadline, with no trades completed by any club at the day seven deadline.
Fear not, talks are progressing at Visy Park, with GWS the day seven focus of Carlton's attentions as the Blues endeavour to secure Kristian Jaksch and Mark Whiley.
Meanwhile, Greater Western Sydney's Jonathan Giles has nominated Essendon as his preferred club of choice going forward, ruling out Adelaide.
Melbourne's Jack Trengrove will remain at the club, after subsequently failing a medical examination that was to see him being traded to Richmond.
And in non-trade news, Port Adelaide today announced that former Brisbane champion Michael Voss has joined the club as midfield manager in a multi-year deal.
