Carlton looks set to regain two players from injury for Monday night’s clash with St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.

Chris Yarran and David Ellard have been named in an extended 25-man squad; Yarran had been battling a hamstring injury and Ellard had an injured calf.

Dennis Armfield, Jaryd Cachia and Matthew Watson also come into the squad after impressive form in the VFL.

Meanwhile young Blue Sam Docherty has been named to play his second senior game for Carlton, after collecting 13 possessions and laying six tackles on debut against Collingwood.

But the Blues will be without Tom Bell who has suffered a finger injury, while Kane Lucas has been omitted.

Carlton’s final 22-man team will be named on Saturday.
