OVERVIEW
Blaine Johnson was recruited to the Blues with a third round pick (No.43 overall) in last year's Rookie Draft.
The 19-year-old from Western Australia impressed early in the VFL, averaging 15 disposals per game.
After Heath Scotland was placed on Carlton's long-term injury list, Johnson was chosen to be upgraded to Carlton's Primary List in his place.
Soon thereafter the No.45 was selected to make his AFL debut in the Round 15 clash with Collingwood.
In total, Johnson played five senior games for the Blues in 2014 and kicked one goal.
Carlton supporters can look forward to seeing a lot more of Johnson, as he embarks on his pre-season campaign.
