’Tis the season to be planning … fa la la la la, la la la la.
Ok – so Christmas might still be a little while away, but this week Carlton fans can already start looking ahead to next year.
The AFL will make two big announcements this week: the 2015 pre-season fixture will unveiled tomorrow, while the home and away fixture will be released on Thursday.
The NAB Cup will return in 2015 with three official rounds set to kick off in February. The league has already said it won’t play the matches on consecutive days, as was the case this year.
Meanwhile Carlton will kick off the home and away season in a Thursday night blockbuster against Richmond on April 2, while it was revealed last week that the Blues will face St Kilda in an ANZAC Day clash in Wellington.
Which teams will Carlton face twice? And who will the Blues come up against when Mick Malthouse breaks the league record for the most games as a senior coach?
Stay tuned to the Carlton website where all will be revealed as the week unfolds!
