The Carlton Football Club would like to congratulate Blues member Wendy Williams on winning a place in the official #NAVYBLUES Game Day Crew for Carlton's Round 17 clash with Sydney at the SCG. 

Along with the thrill of being an honorary Game Day Crew Member, the prize also includes an all-expenses-paid trip to Sydney, as well as access to the rooms before and after the Saturday night blockbuster.  

Ms Williams, who entered the competition late last year, was in shock when told she had been selected as the winner. 

"I couldn't believe it when the Club rang me – at first I thought it was someone playing a joke on me!" she said. 

The prize also includes airfares, accommodation and match access for a friend, which presented somewhat of a dilemma. 

Both of Ms Williams' daughters are avid Carlton supporters, so a tough call had to be made. 

"I have decided that I am going to bring my mum with me – she is very excited!" Ms Williams said. 

"After all, my parents are to thank for me supporting the Blues in the first place."
