Carlton has made one change ahead of Saturday’s game against Hawthorn at the MCG.

Greg Bentley has been promoted from the rookie list, replacing Adam Bentick who was placed on the long term injury list earlier this month.

Bentley a half-back/midfielder returned to Victoria after being elevated from Port Adelaide’s rookie list in 2006 and playing 21 games with the Power in the past three seasons. He trained with Carlton before the AFL Draft and was Carlton’s 3rd round rookie selection.

Bentley replaces Chris Johnson in the team after he injured his thigh last week against the Bulldogs. He is expected to miss 3 – 4 weeks.

Carlton and Hawthorn life member, David Parkin will present the medal named in his honour to the Most Valuable Player after the game.  David will select the player based on the following qualities– Leadership, Presence, Team Values, Performance in a team role, Influence on the outcome of the game.
