Carlton has regained young forward Jack Silvagni for its clash against arch-rival Essendon at the MCG on Saturday.
Silvagni and Sam Kerridge were late withdrawals last week, but replace Andrejs Everitt (omitted) and Ed Curnow (knee) as the two changes to the side which defeated Melbourne.
Midfielder Dale Thomas will become the third Blue this season to play his 200th AFL game, having been named alongside Patrick Cripps and stand-in captain Kade Simpson in the midfield.
The former Magpie has played 42 games in the navy blue and starred against Essendon in Round 6 with 31 disposals and a goal.
Essendon has welcomed back captain Brendon Goddard, Courtenay Dempsey, Shaun McKernan and Nick Kommer for Adam Cooney (retired), Orazio Fantasia (groin), Mathew Stokes (retired) and Mark Jamar (omitted).
The Blues will be striving to replicate a feat they haven't achieved since 2001: beat the Bombers twice in a home-and-away season.
