Consistency is the key
Carlton’s Chris Yarran spoke to Gold 104 this week after he was revealed as the mystery Footy Head.
It took listeners nine guesses and questions to deduce Yarran’s identity.
The 23-year-old was a stand-out for Carlton against Richmond in Round 2, gathering 21 disposals and booting three goals.
But he says it will take a more consistent team effort if the Blues are to topple the Bombers this weekend.
“It’s been a bit of a shaky start to the season, but we showed good signs of competiveness in the Richmond and Port Adelaide games,” Yarran said.
“We’ve just got to put in a four quarter consistent effort this week and hopefully come away with the job.
“But we’re upbeat about the season and hopefully we can sign more members up this year, because I think it’s going to be a great one.”
