Andrew Carrazzo has recovered from a calf injury that has kept him out of the team for the last five matches. Carrazzo was a late withdrawal for the match against the Western Bulldogs in round 16 after injuring his calf in the final training session the day prior to the game. At the time Carrazzo injured his calf at trainings Aaron Joseph was warming up to play for the Northern Bullants and he was withdrawn from the Bullants team and replaced Carrazzo in the Blues side the next day against the Bulldogs.
The two players to make way for the return of Carrazzo and Armfield are Ryan Houlihan and Brock McLean, both will play for the Bullants against Geelong at Visy Park on Saturday at 2:00pm
Jeff Garlett will play his 50th game for Carlton on Saturday afternoon. Garlett joined Carlton via the 2009 NAB Rookie Draft as a first round selection, number 6 overall. He was a nominated rookie for the 2009 and 2010 seasons before being elevated to the Carlton primary list via the NAB AFL National Draft in 2010, rookie elevation, selection 85 overall.
Jeff made his AFL debut in round one, 2009 against Richmond at the MCG and was the 1,116th player to represent Carlton in the AFL. A rising star nominee in 2010 Garlett was runner-up in Carlton’s goalkicking last season and is also second on the list this year with 40 goals.
