JACK Silvagni’s towering pack mark against Adelaide on Saturday at Etihad Stadium night has earned him a Woolworths Mark of the Year nomination.

The young Blue launched himself over four players, including teammate and ruck Matthew Lobbe, to claim the football and draw comparisons to his father and former Carlton full-back Stephen Silvagni.

Essendon’s Aaron Francis and Geelong’s Jack Henry also received nominations in Round 23.

Silvagni joins 2018 nominees Andrew Phillips, who received the nod for his Round 5 grab over two Eagles, and Charlie Curnow, who was the Round 14 Mark of the Year winner after taking a huge pack-grab against Collingwood.

Meanwhile, Sam Kerridge has received a nomination in the 2018 Coates Hire Goal of the Year for his long 55-metre bomb in the second quarter.

The 25-year-old sidestepped a number of Crows opponents to boot the major from outside 50.

Adelaide’s Eddie Betts and the Dogs’ Brad Lynch round out the Round 23 nominees.

Kerridge is the second Blue to be nominated for the award this year, with first-year player Paddy Dow also receiving the honour in Round 19 for his long-range goal against the Suns.
