This will be Griffiths first year coaching Carlton’s VFLW side, having spent previous years coaching Richmond and Port Melbourne in both the VFL and VFLW competitions.
His most recent position was as a senior assistant coach at Richmond in the VFL, where Griffiths looked after the forwards as part of the coaching group this year that helped the Tigers win the Grand Final at Ikon Park in September.
Taking over from Shannon McFerran, the inaugural VFLW coach, Griffiths will have the chance to make the Carlton side his own, using his many years of experience to mould the side in 2020.
