Carlton defender Liam Jones has been charged with engaging in rough conduct by the AFL’s Match Review Officer.
The incident occurred in the second quarter of Thursday night’s game against Richmond at the MCG.
The match review has graded the incident as intentional conduct with low impact to the body. It carries a $2000 sanction with an early plea.
Jones recorded eight disposals (all intercept possessions) and seven one percenters in last night's game.
