Carlton’s membership tally has topped 30,000 before Christmas for the first time in the Club’s history.
As at 10.00am on Tuesday, 30,243 Bluebaggers had committed to Carlton as members for the 2016 season.
Carlton CEO Steven Trigg said it’s a terrific result and shows supporters are backing the Club’s new direction.
“A strong membership base is vital for football clubs to grow and prosper, so I’m rapt that more than 30,000 Blues fans have heeded the call by signing up as members before Christmas,” Trigg said.
“It’s important that we celebrate the milestones along the way, so on behalf of everyone at Carlton, I want to say thank you to everyone who has already committed to join us – we really appreciate the support.
“There is a genuine sense of optimism at Carlton, so I encourage anyone who loves the Blues to sign up and share the journey.”
If you sign up for Carlton membership by 5pm, Saturday 19 December you’re eligible to be part of the 12 Days of Giveaways. We’re giving members the chance to win one of 12 money-can’t-buy experiences.
