CLUB legend Anthony Koutoufides has shared his optimism about Carlton’s list heading into the 2019 season.
Speaking on SEN Breakfast, the former captain spoke positively of the team’s acquisitions during the off-season, highlighting the impact players like Mitch McGovern, Will Setterfield and Sam Walsh will be able to have.
“I can’t see (Carlton) going backwards, they’ve got some great inclusions into their list,” Koutoufides said.

“They’ve got a young list, they’ve got some really great young players and improvement should come from them.
“I see them going forward no doubt about it. I’m a little bit more excited about the upcoming season, but only time will tell.”
The Blues have ramped up their pre-season training as their season opener against Richmond quickly approaches.
Fans are encouraged to join the boys this Friday for the Club’s Open Training from 8am.
