Carlton could regain Levi Casboult for Sunday's clash with Melbourne at the MCG.
Casboult missed the loss to the Lions with a knee injury.
Head of Football Andrew McKay says the big man is recovering well.
"Levi stirred up his PCL, there was not a lot of damage but he certainly hurt it," McKay said.
"It's pulled up pretty well, there was a little bit of laxity after the game a couple of weeks ago, but that's improved enormously.
"He'll be a test at the end of the week and we're confident he will play."
Meanwhile Dennis Armfield remains a chance to play again this season after recovering from a broken arm.
And Simon White is set to undergo minor surgery on the knee he injured in Round 2 against the Eagles.
McKay says it's just a clean-up and White will be fully fit by the start of the pre-season.
