Carlton's Blaine Boekhorst has been nominated for the AFL's Weet-Bix Mark of the Year.

Boekhorst took the high-flying grab in the second quarter of Saturday night's match against North Melbourne.

The 21-year-old leapt over the top of North's Nick Dal Santo to secure the mark just outside Carlton's forward 50.

The AFL is giving fans the chance to vote for Boekhorst's mark to go in the running for the weekly cash prize of $200 and the major cash prize of $5000 at the end of the season.
