Carlton could regain skipper Marc Murphy for Sunday's NAB Challenge game against Geelong at Etihad Stadium.
Murphy is back to full training after recovering from a calf strain suffered in an intra-club match last month.
Bryce Gibbs and Rob Warnock both suffered knocks to their shoulders in the weekend win over Collingwood.
Carlton's Head of Football Andrew McKay says Gibbs is likely to play, but Warnock is in doubt.
"He's (Gibbs) pulled up a little bit sore but certainly no damage there and we're confident that he'll be right for Sunday's game against Geelong," McKay said.
"Rob's had a scan – it's all clear – so again it will just be how he pulls up. He might be touch and go this week, but he'll certainly be right for round one."
Meanwhile Andrew Walker has donned a knee brace as he continues on the road to recovery.
McKay says the brace is just taking pressure off Walker's knee and is no cause for concern.
"It certainly doesn't mean that he (Walker) has gone backwards at all – he's going well, but he's touch and go for round one still. If it's not round one it will be shortly after."
