HE SAID IT

“Fraser Brown said to me (when he gave me my number) ‘you’re pretty lucky to play for this club, you’ll always remember your first game for Carlton’ and I think that’s definitely true – it’s one I’ll never forget. Although the result wasn’t what we wanted, I know I’m lucky to play for this club.”

THEY SAID IT
“We see him as a player who is going to give us another tall marking option, as well as flexibility, given he can play forward and back. While he is still developing, we believe he will be a 10-year player for our football club.”

- Carlton’s Head of Football, Andrew McKay, speaking about Jaksch after he was drafted to the Blues.

SEASON HIGHLIGHT

In his first game for the Blues, Jaksch showed composure and poise when he kicked his first goal in navy blue. After marking the ball close to the boundary line, around 40 metres out, the 20-year-old nailed a set shot from the tightest of angles.
