Sam Rowe was back on the training track at Visy Park today as the players had a solid session in preparation for Sunday’s home game against Melbourne at the MCG.

However Rowe was not involved in the session with the rest of the players, he was assisting the coaching staff organising a number of the training drills.

“Sam was our official ‘cone mover’ at today’s training,” Brett Ratten said after the session.

“He is in great spirits and has been around the club a bit this week and it is great to see him here. The players have enjoyed catching up with him and there is still plenty of banter between them,” Ratten added.

Rowe is currently undergoing treatment for testicular cancer and completed his first week of chemotherapy last week. His treatment is set to continue for a number of weeks.
