Player welfare and development are priorities for the Carlton Football Club, with the Club recognising the importance of players receiving continued support away from the game.
To help Blues players make informed financial choices, the Carlton Football Club this week held a financial management seminar, in conjunction with the AFL Players Association. The seminar was available for all Carlton players to attend.
The seminar focused on understanding financial habits, the differences between good and bad debt, and how players can plan for life after football.
Player Development Manager James Golds says the program is another example of the Carlton Football Club's commitment to the holistic development of its players.
"We need to ensure that these young men are prepared for the many opportunities and challenges they face - including their financial knowledge and habits."
