The Blues will feature in a historic Friday night blockbuster against arch-rival Collingwood to launch the inaugural NAB AFL Women’s competition in 2017.
The AFL unveiled the AFL Women’s fixture on Friday morning, with Carlton and Collingwood doing battle on Friday 3 February at Olympic Park Oval at 7.40pm. Free-to-air network Channel Seven will broadcast the historic game.
Blues fans will then be treated to three double headers featuring their men's and women's teams (including one at Ikon Park), in line with the men's pre-season JLT Community Series across February and March.
Football will return to the spiritual home of Carlton when the women’s team runs out on three separate occasions at Ikon Park against GWS, Western Bulldogs and Brisbane.
