Young gun Charlie Curnow headlines a string of names in line to face the West Coast Eagles on Sunday at the MCG.
The extended squad has been named with Curnow in line to play after overcoming a recent bout of glandular fever. Dylan Buckley, Jason Tutt, Mark Whiley, Kristian Jaksch, Nick Graham and Liam Jones have all been named on the extended bench.
Dale Thomas (calf) and Andrew Walker (knee) will miss through injury, while Andrejs Everitt (omitted) and Levi Casboult (suspension) will also be sidelined.
Meanwhile, West Coast has named Jack Redden, Eric Mackenzie and Jackson Nelson as inclusions to its extended squad.
The Blues and Eagles will name their final teams at 5pm on Friday.
