The relationship between the Carlton Football Club and ZTE has grown even stronger, with the global telecommunications company expanding its sponsorship to include the Blues women’s team.
Signing on as a platinum partner of Carlton’s inaugural AFLW team, ZTE’s logo will feature on the players’ shorts – both training and playing – as well as the media backdrop and match-day signage.
Carlton CEO Steven Trigg said he’s delighted ZTE has expanded its partnership with the Club.
“Over the last three years we have built a strong relationship with ZTE and this new agreement will only strengthen the partnership between the two brands.
“We’re really pleased ZTE have embraced our commitment to women’s football, as they also look to invest in the development of women’s sport,” Trigg said.

ZTE Australia’s managing director Daniel Zhao said sponsoring Carlton’s AFLW team aligned with their desire to support professional female athletes.
“ZTE is committed to supporting women in sport. The expansion of our current partnership to include Carlton’s women’s team will allow us to demonstrate that, whilst also helping to increase the brand awareness of ZTE Smartphones in the Australian market,” Zhao said.
“We have experienced a strong partnership with the Carlton Football Club over the last two seasons, and we are excited that we are part of such a huge movement for women in sport through the inaugural national women's competition.”
