There are some big milestones in store for several Carlton players this season.

Here's what we can look forward to:

GAMES

Kade Simpson - 250 games (currently on 242)
There’s no stopping Carlton’s oldest player Kade Simpson, who has flourished this pre-season and says his body is the best its felt for four or five years. Admired by Blues supporters for his courage and never-say-die attitude, the warrior will rise to 12th on the list of most games played for Carlton when he plays his 250th (one behind Stephen Kernahan).

Bryce Gibbs - 200 games (currently on 187)
Blues supporters wouldn’t have been used to seeing Bryce Gibbs miss games in 2015, with the durable midfielder playing 187 of a possible 202 games over his nine-year career. Should he reach 200 games in 2016, the soon-to-be 27-year-old will become the third youngest player in Carlton history behind Robert Walls (26 years, 290 days) and Lance Whitnall (27 years, 4 days) to do so.

Andrew Walker - 200 games (currently on 191)
Andrew Walker will make history when he becomes the first Indigenous player to play 200 games for Carlton. Should the 29-year-old stay fit, Walker could become the 31st player to reach 200 games at the Blues as early as Round 9 against North Melbourne.

Dale Thomas - 200 games (currently on 182)
Stuck on 182 games since late May last year, Dale Thomas has overcome the shoulder injury which ruined his 2015 season. Though the former Collingwood premiership player has played just 25 games in two years for Carlton, all signs are pointing to a strong return for ‘Daisy’.

Michael Jamison 150 games (currently on 145)
Veteran defender Michael Jamison endured a tough season injury-wise in 2015, but was one of Carlton’s most reliable performers when fit. Should all go to plan, the 29-year-old will play his 150th game in Round 5 against Fremantle at Domain Stadium.

Zach Tuohy – 100 games (currently on 98)
Defender Zach Tuohy is just two games away from becoming the first Irishman to play 100 games for the Blues and having his name etched on the No. 42 locker in the process.  The 26-year-old has been a mainstay in Carlton’s defence since his debut in Round 11, 2011, playing 98 of a possible 105 games.

Ed Curnow - 100 games (currently on 88)
Taken as a mature-age rookie (22) from the Box Hill Hawks in 2011, Ed Curnow’s journey to 100 games has been one of hard work and tenacity. Coming off his career-best season which saw him play every game and finish fourth in the best and fairest, Blues supporters shouldn’t have to wait too long to see Curnow's name etched on the No. 35 locker.

Matthew Wright - 100 games (currently on 94)
Carlton swooped on Matthew Wright as a delisted free agent, linking him up with former Adelaide teammate Sam Kerridge. It remains to be seen how coach Brendon Bolton will use the inside midfielder-forward, but the 26-year-old will provide invaluable experience to the young Blues list in his first season at the Club.

Cam Wood – 100 games (currently on 88)
In his second season with the Blues, former Brisbane Lions and Collingwood ruckman Cam Wood played 18 games to take his club tally to 24. The 28-year-old will face stiff competition in 2016, with the arrivals of fellow big men Daniel Gorringe and Andrew Phillips and Matthew Kreuzer’s return to full fitness.

Sam Docherty – 50 games (currently on 48)
Sam Docherty played 13 games for Brisbane before joining Carlton ahead of the 2014 season. The consistent 22-year-old, who finished sixth in last season’s best and fairest, is expected to play his 50th game in Round 2 against Sydney at Etihad Stadium.

Jason Tutt - 50 games (currently on 39)
Former Bulldog Jason Tutt has played just 13 games for the Blues, but the 24-year-old speedster will be looking to build on his strong finish to 2015 as he edges towards his first milestone.
