Out-of-contract Carlton defender Zach Tuohy has informed the Club that he would like to seek a trade and nominated Geelong as his preferred club.

“The Club had offered Zach a three-year deal and he has chosen to explore his options. We remain committed to adhering to our list management plan and the offer was in line with that strategy,” Head of Football Andrew McKay said.

“We will now work with Zach and his management to ensure an appropriate deal can be arranged in the best interests of the Carlton Football Club.” 

The Club will make no further comment.
