OVERVIEW
Sam Kerridge pulled on the navy blue jumper 21 times this season after being traded to Carlton from Adelaide at the end of 2015.
The former Crow made an immediate impact at Ikon Park, impressing both the coaches and his new teammates with his elite work rate and professionalism.
After making his Carlton debut in Round 1 against Richmond, Kerridge continue to rack up disposals. In the Blues’ Round 11 win against Brisbane, the hard nut had 30 possessions, seven inside 50s, eight contested possessions and booted a goal.
Not surprisingly the 23-year-old finished the year ranked sixth for disposals at the Club, averaging 21 for the year. His consistent performances earned him 10th place on best-and-fairest night
Currently sitting on 48 games, the midfielder will no doubt notch up his 50th AFL game early next year.
