As Carlton continues to share the load among the playing group, three Blues have been recognised for their dominant performances against Brisbane.
Defenders Jacob Weitering and Zach Tuohy have been named in AFL Media’s ‘Team of the Week’, with Weitering placed at full-back and Tuohy named at half-back.

Joining ‘Weiters’ down back is Cat Lachie Henderson and Roo Luke McDonald, while the Irishman sits alongside Hawk Ben Stratton and Bulldog Marcus Adams.
Weitering had 24 disposals, including a game-high 10 intercepts and seven intercept marks, while Tuohy had 23 possessions and five inside 50s, not to mention booting a huge goal from outside 50.
Carlton midfielder Ed Curnow also caught the eye of the opposing coaches, receiving a perfect score of 10 in the AFL Coaches’ Association award.
Curnow had 28 disposals, including 12 tackles and 12 contested possessions.
Bryce Gibbs currently sits in seventh position on the overall leaderboard with 40 votes – Swan Dan Hannebery leads the way on 54 votes.
