Join the march
History will be made this Thursday as the inaugural “March to the MCG” is staged for all Carlton supporters.
Beginning underneath the big screen at Federation Square, supporters will march united together towards Gate 3 of the MCG as a show of support and strength leading into the 2012 AFL Season.
Carlton greats Anthony Koutoufides and Geoff Southby will be on hand to lead the march along with current up and coming stars Luke Mitchell and Andrew McInnes. Captain Carlton will also be present throughout the march for all the children in attendance giving away a heap of Blues prizes.
The best dressed Carlton supporters to take part in the “March” from will also win the chance to “Kick Goals for Carlton” on the ground pre-game against selected Richmond supporters with great prizes up for grabs to the winner.
Carlton coach Brett Ratten encouraged supporters of all ages to “Join the March”.
“We want all Carlton supporters to arrive at Federation Square dressed in Navy Blue and ready to walk together to the MCG as a show of support leading into our important game against Richmond," Ratten said.

Ticketing
With a crowd of around 80,000 expected for Thursday night’s game, Carlton supporters are advised to pre-purchase their tickets to avoid queues and the potential that the game could sell-out.
