Ten teams from eight Primary Schools from around Victoria were involved in the 2010 AFL Multicultural Cup final at Visy Park with a competition for girls and a separate competition for boys.
The excitement on the children’s faces was obvious from the moment they arrived at the home of the Carlton Football Club and it continued during the day when the football games commenced. Each team played four games during the day with the winning schools, Minaret College and Preston PS, winning the overall competition.
The Carlton Multicultural Program is part of the Carlton Football Club’s ongoing work in the community and will continue in 2011.
